195 million Indians sleep hungry every single day. 165 million children suffer from malnutrition. The foundation is helping people to have a better quality of life, for as long as possible. serving 4000+ meals a day. Across eleven states and sixteen cities. Special distributions twice a day helps the less-fortunate to eat food and offset their living expenses.
Food4Soul is a free food distribution program to support life. Chronic hunger makes both children and adults more susceptible to common illnesses and infections, and can eventually lead to death due to wasting or rapid weight loss. The world produces enough food to feed everyone sufficiently but poverty forces so many of them to sleep on empty stomach.
The Foundation has been distributing free food from the kitchens set up in Delhi and Hyderabad. Year on year we intend to increase the numbers and add our footprints across the country. We believe in serving others before the self.
The promise of the next meal is important to the beneficiary; that is why we work hard to ensure the reliable and consistent provision of our food rations every day without fail to give the beneficiary continued food security needed. Sustained grassroot initiatives like these have a direct implication in the lives of people.
Our operations are centrally controlled and supervised under strict management. We are feeding to end hunger in our communities.
Sarvatma Sevashram feeds around 4,000 people daily. All initiatives put together makes it more than 2 million meals in a year. Freshly prepared, wholesome food is served to the hungry. Under the monthly food support programme, around 90,000 meals are served.
